The President of Castilla-La Mancha inaugurated the region’s stand at FITUR 2025, where Castilla-La Mancha is showcasing its extensive offerings in heritage, nature, gastronomy, and unique experiences. The exhibition space, visited by the King and Queen of Spain, focused on the province of Cuenca on its opening day. In the coming days, Albacete, Ciudad Real, Guadalajara, and Toledo will each take center stage to present their remarkable attractions to visitors from around the globe.

The regional president expressed satisfaction with Castilla-La Mancha’s record-breaking tourism figures, emphasizing that, in addition to its exceptional tangible and intangible heritage, the region offers an unpolluted environment and remarkably clear skies.
The president also highlighted the growing role of archaeology as a major draw for tourists, noting that Castilla-La Mancha is the cradle of much of Europe’s history.
Tourism accounts for approximately 26.1% of Spain’s GDP growth, according to the regional president, who pointed out that Castilla-La Mancha has greater potential for growth compared to other regions in the country, thanks to its untapped resources and unique offerings. Moreover, the president highlighted how tourism acts as a driving force behind the diversification of regional activities, supporting other economic sectors in Castilla-La Mancha.
