Castilla-La Mancha to Promote the Region’s First Folklore Festival

The regional government, in collaboration with regional television, will promote the 1st Castilla-La Mancha Folklore Festival following the signing of a cooperation agreement between the two parties.

The agreement also includes the creation of a series of podcasts to be broadcast through various communication channels, featuring content from the first volume of the Audiovisual Encyclopedia of Regional Folklore, which was commissioned by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha.

The Department of Culture of Castilla-La Mancha has announced that the regional government aims to release the second volume of this encyclopedia before the end of the year, continuing its efforts to preserve the folklore of Castilla-La Mancha.

The folklore of Castilla-La Mancha aims to merge both traditional and innovative elements, maintaining an ongoing dialogue with the Regional Folklore Federation.

Now, the goal is to combine efforts, resources, and expertise so that this first folklore festival in Castilla-La Mancha serves as a launchpad for future editions, with the mission of promoting and preserving one of the region’s cultural heritage pillars.
