Madrid International Airport, the main one in Spain, is located just 75km from the city of Toledo and 50km from the city of Guadalajara. These two cities can be reached quickly by high-speed train in a few minutes. The rest of the capitals of Castilla-La Mancha can also be reached by high speed in just over an hour.
All the cities and the most touristic and important towns of Castilla-La Mancha are connected by bus. Both by train and by bus there are services from early in the day until late in the afternoon.

In winter, temperatures often drop below 0ºC in most of the region. The average temperature for the month of January is below 6º C, with numerous frosts on cloudless nights, frosts are also frequent in early spring and late autumn.

There are five festivals declared of International Tourist Interest: Corpus Christi in Toledo, Albacete Festival, Cuenca Religious Music Week, and Holy Week in Cuenca, Toledo and Hellín.
